HIRE OUR VENUE
Our Club facilities are available for bowling events as well as corporate and private social bowls events. We can accomodate small groups or large gatherings of up to 150 people.
There are two world class grass greens one is an All Weather green which dries out in 20 minutes, each with 8 rinks which can accommodate up to 64 bowlers at a time (as 16 teams of 4) or more in teams less than 4.
Bowls, jacks, scoreboards and other equipment are included and set up for you.
One of our experienced bowlers will be on hand to provide coaching, help with scoring and give tips and tricks to improve your game.
The club rooms and greens are often booked for several functions at one time.
There will be limited seating when multiple functions occur.
All fees are +GST.
PAYMENT FOR BOOKINGS
An invoice from Xero will be sent to you for the full amount. Pay 50% of this invoice, which will serve as the deposit to secure your booking.
Full payment is then required prior to the event.
Payment can be made by Direct Deposit or Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard) over the phone - surcharge pay apply.
We do not take tentative bookings.
If less people show up for the booking than what was paid/booked for, we cannot refund. We hire staff and set the club up for the confirmed number. If more guests show up to the event, payment can be made on the day.

All prices, fees and costs are +GST
Bookings are for 3 hours including use of greens, equipment and club rooms. Bowls usually takes an 1-2 hours. After the initial 3 hours, it is $100+gst per hour for use of the club rooms.
The club rooms and greens often host several functions at one time especially during the summer period. We do not provide exclusive use of the club during this time.
In the event of weather preventing bowling on the greens there is a discount of 50% for hireage
All function bookings will incur a cleaning fee of $160. This is split if there are multiple events on that day.
Use of the greens is weather dependent.
Cutlery and Crockery is available for use at $50
Gas BBQ is available for use at a cost of $50.
Club Rules
Flat shoes only to be worn on the grass greens. Jandals, sandals and bare feet are acceptable. Any heels may damage the greens.
The greens are surrounded by flood lights so bowls can be played in the dark.
Bad behaviour on the greens or in the clubhouse will not be tolerated.
Any loss or damage to the greens, club room or equipment will be charged accordingly.
Our club license does not permit BYO alcohol or any other beverages.

Lawn bowls is a great activity whatever age or fitness level. Haven’t bowled before? No problem. First time bowlers are welcome. One of our friendly experienced club members will be on hand to set you up and provide basic instruction.
Internal seating for 80.
Verandah area outside clubrooms has tables, chairs and umbrellas and comfortably seats 36.
Bar facilities available before and during functions.
Fully equipped kitchen.
One flat screen TV.
Projector and motorised screen available for hire fee of $100.

A complete sound system with internal and external speakers.

Apart from bar snacks the club doesn’t provide food.

The Auckland Bowling Club is family friendly so children are welcome as long as they are well supervised. Under 12 not allowed on the greens.
There is parking available outside the clubrooms pay and display. They are free after 5.00pm, at weekends and during public holidays.
